Installing the 1Control app on Apple Watch
- Set up the iPhone first: the entrance must open correctly in the 1Control app.
- Open the Watch app on your iPhone and install the 1Control app on the watch.
- Open 1Control on Apple Watch: the automations from the phone app appear.
If some entrances are missing, open the 1Control app on Apple Watch and keep it active; then on the iPhone open the 1Control app, tap the settings icon, choose "Apple Watch App" and press "Sync devices".
Installing the app on a Wear OS smartwatch
- Open the Google Play Store on your Android phone and search for the 1Control app.
- Under the app icon, choose "Available on more devices": your Wear OS watch is detected.
- Tap "Install" for the watch.
If the watch falls out of sync with the phone: on the watch, open Settings, then the app info, select 1Control and tap "Clear data". On the phone, open the 1Control app and operate an entrance, then in the app settings tap "Smartwatch" and sync the data with your smartwatch.
When a smartwatch really helps

Who can open from the smartwatch
The watch shows the entrances the user has in the 1Control app. Permissions stay in the app: the administrator creates shares tied to a phone number, with a start date, an expiry date and time slots, and can revoke them at any time. The access log remains available in the app.
What the smartwatch does not do: open by itself as you approach. The 1Control app does not track your location, so you always give the command yourself.
