The 1Control SOLO and SOLO AUTO are smart devices that allow you to operate gates and garages using your smartphone and smartwatch. The main difference lies in their intended use, capacity, and integration.
1. 1Control SOLO
The SOLO is the original 1Control device, designed to be installed at a fixed point near the gate or garage.
Typical Use: Fixed to a pillar, a wall, or in a protected area near the automation. It is the ideal solution if multiple users (on foot, bike, or car) need access.
Capacity: Stores up to 4 remote control buttons and manages 10 users for the standard SOLO and 50 users for the SOLO EVO variant.
Range: Bluetooth opening works within approximately 15-20 meters of the device.
External Integration: Can be paired with the LINK device for opening from any distance (via Wi-Fi/data network) and, consequently, with the 1Control Sensor to monitor the open/closed status.
2. 1Control SOLO AUTO
The SOLO AUTO is the specialized version optimized for exclusive use in the car. It is designed to maximize driver convenience.
Typical Use: Installed inside the car (e.g., on the dashboard, windshield, or in the glove box).
Capacity: Stores up to 6 remote control buttons (2 more than the standard SOLO) and can be managed by a maximum of 2 users.
Range: Works exclusively via Bluetooth, within approximately 30 meters of the gate.
Key Advantage: Full integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto without needing a LINK.
